The Niflheim is the most powerful dreadnought in the Space Corps' arsenal. So far its only form of service was in the Bydo Homecoming event.
THE FOLLOWING IS MERELY SPECULATED HISTORY BASED ON GAME EVENTS. THESE ARE NOT CONFIRMED BY IREM SOFTWARE ENGINEERING AND SHOULD BE TREATED AS FAN INFORMATION. HOWEVER TEXT IN ITALICS IS CONFIRMED AND TRUE INFORMATION.
After the construction of many Muspellheims, the Space Corps were considering another model that would serve alongside the Ultimate Fighters as the Ultimate Dreadnought. The idea caught on and funding was put in for the UFBS-AE3 Niflheim. Using the Muspellheim as a prototype, the Niflheim was constructed to improve every aspect vastly. The Positron Cannon equipped exceeded the power of the Utgarda Loki even. Noticeable increases in hull strength were added as well.
Several Dreadnoughts was finished around when the Artificial Star was destroyed, giving the Space Corps some hope of stopping the Bydo threat, but the Niflheim guarding the Space Corps HQ was overwhelmed quickly after having no reinforcements available at the time. The Bydo then mysteriously retreated after this victory, and began to leave the planet. Several more Niflheims were deployed to try to destroy what was left.
