The Wave Cannon's output was increased, making it a necessity to further increase the chassis venting. However, other than a modified Force, there aren't any changes from the previous model. Though the 'heat fighter' series was a success, it became prohibitively costly and nearly impossible to safely improve the craft further, and development stopped at the Dominions.
