The R-9 Leo marked a different route of technological development within the R-Series. The Bit Conductor was greatly enhanced and empowered. Unfortunately, this meant removing and disabling the Wave Cannon and Force controllers for its first outing. After the events of Leo, newer technologies allowed restoration of the disabled controllers. Though the Leo Force was a strong addition, only a minimum amount of power was able to be routed to the Wave Cannon.
The offensive capabilites of this fighter’s Bit Device have been drastically altered. The Bit can fire the same laser as the Force. The Wave Cannon’s output had to be lowered in order to increase the Bit’s firepower.
