The power of the Pile Bunker series, unappreciated to this point, was finally realized with this model. Though it's far larger than most other R-craft, the unleashed power of the Hyper Tesla Pile Bunker can't be ignored. It still requires close range contact, which some pilots still didn't agree with. The series enjoyed new attention thanks to the improved Wave Cannon, but still not enough to compare with most of the other R-craft; thus, the R-9DP3 was the last of the series.
