The Hybrid Wave Cannon System was an attempt to give fighters more options on the battlefield. This long series of hybrids were equipped on the various transforming mecha R-craft, whose form would shift depending on whether there was an attached Force or not. Oddly enough, this distinction passes onto the Ultimate Fighters, who don't have a secondary form; with an attached Force, they'll fire the fighter's cannon, whereas a detached Force will result in the humanoid's weapon.

Diffusion Test/Shock Wave Cannon

The first hybrid was test version, combining the basic prototype cannon and a Shock Wave for added firepower.
