Slither

Slither is a long, jointed Bydo, resembling a tapeworm. Its segmented body breaks apart when the head is destroyed, the parts flinging outward in an attempt to hit whatever dealt the final blow.

The multi-jointed crustaceans appear in Stage 5: The Den. When its head is destroyed its body breaks into small pieces. In the Sega Master system version, it is known as a Mura. Just one charged blast to the head is all that it takes to destroy this critter.
